Manchester City are now in the Nationwide Division 1, getting through in a dramatic penalty shoot out against improved team Gillingham. City were said to be very fortunate in many people’s eyes after approx. 5 minutes extra time was added to the game. After the match, Gillingham fans were furious at the time added on. One fan said, ‘Where did they get 5 minutes from, I counted 2?’. But this opinion wasn’t shared by the City fans, who were ecstatic with the result after being 2-0 down in extra-time.
Now City fans are hoping to take their team into the Premiership, where they can’t wait to play in the famous Manchester Derbys!
I say, ‘Well done City, they belong in the Premiership’.
